BBC’s Sherlock: The Reichenbach Fall Review

The one where Sherlock Holmes dies is based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Final Problem.” As with other episodes from this BBC production, it might as well have not been based from Conan Doyle’s work.  Having worshiped Sherlock’s author, I’ve always been more than skeptical with anything slightly touching Sherlock Holmes – particularly this episode.

Having watched all the series, I’ve always said on each episode that, “no way can they make the next on better,” I was wrong every single time.

Moriarty dominated at all angles – the criminal mastermind in perfect control of the world; Holmes really felt like a fraud. Never has a film hypnotized me in that way, leaving this fan at the edge of his seat with his jaw dropped, hands tugging his hair at every scene. In a word: Classic!

To Steven Moffat: Bravo!
